THE SACRED WATERS PROPOSAL 

This project will have 4 separate, but compatible & seamless business operations:

   A.  THERMAL WATERS WELLNESS CENTER - The IVH has a geothermal well onsite which produces large quantities of naturally hot water.  These geothermal waters will be used to create a series of warm water pools to provide aqua-therapy for persons who have  mobility issues, and need the buoyancy of warm water to get much needed exercise and physical therapy.  The physical layout of the IVH facility will allow us to accommodate even severely disabled 

 

  B.  RECREATIONAL HOT SPRINGS RESORT - This operation will consist of a  series of mostly outdoor semi-private pools, and perhaps a sauna, which are adjacent to the main facility  on a day.   Different pools may have different temperature levels with lovely pool design and landscaping.   There is a large, worldwide sub-culture of "hot springers", who travel from one hot springs resort to another,  and spend lots of money during their travels.  This is a diverse population which represent all segments of society.  Such hot springers will mostly be day-use visitors at first until additional overnight accommodations are available onsite.  

 

  C.  GREENHOUSE & GARDENS TO PRODUCE YEAR-ROUND PRODUCE - These greenhouses and gardens will use the left-over thermal waters to both heat the greenhouses and water the growing plants.  Starting at approximately 1/4 acre in size, and possibly later growing to many acres if the resort footprint is enlarged, such a "small intensive farm operation" can generate significant year-round quantities of produce.
